Jones Hall Advisors consists of a group of well-rounded individuals with much experience and knowledge to offer any client.  Each professional is required to take continued education classes and seminars, which ensures their expertise in all areas of business, finance, and accounting.  They feel at ease with clients while giving them the quality service they deserve and need.  Our group has maintained a unique ability to work as a team.  If at any time, a client has a problem, our team is ready to act as consultants.

Robert H. Jones, CPA, CVA
Bob is a principal and founder of Jones Hall Advisors.

In his early years, he served in the United States Intelligence Service and later graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. That same year he passed the CPA Exam and began his career as a Certified Public Accountant. Bob gained early experience in public accounting with Wooden & Benson and Deloitte Touche. He later helped found two high tech companies and served as their Chief Financial Officer. Bob negotiated mergers with public companies for both of these entities.

As a Certified Business Valuation Analyst, Bob has prepared various business valuations to assist clients in financial planning, gift and estate tax preparation and in liability lawsuits and divorce settlements.

Bob has a strong background in the fields of Accounting and Auditing and has done post-graduate work in Taxation.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Mary E. Hall, CPA, CFP
Mary is a principal with Jones Hall Advisors.

She worked for the firm while attending Loyola College and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude. She passed the CPA exam while working for a local CPA firm in the Southwest. In 1987 she rejoined this firm and in several years was made a principal. In 1992, she passed the exam to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Mary specializes in Taxation and Financial Planning. She has served on Federal Tax and is currently serving on the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the Maryland Association of CPAs.

Mary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is a founding member of the Christian Professional Network, an organization which provides a forum for the Christian business community to network and sponsors educational meetings.
